I got a new psp for christmas and I don't how to get onto the internet, the problem is, is that it only shows games, video, mp3, and the other thing, but not the network symbol, and I don't know how to get the symbol back so I can get on the internet.

Damn consider yourself lucky!! It sounds like you have a v1.51 or 2! Given that the Network Icon didn't appear untill v2.00! So you're going to have to update your PSP?. Problem is if you go to use the Network Update (on the PSP?), or you go and get it from yourpsp.com. It'll be v2.60. Which is well.... Useless! If you should ever hope to run Homebrew or *iso's. ~The latter only works with v1.50~

All you currently need is v2.00! Assuming that this is a European v1.52 there should be a v2.00 Update on the Demo UMD?. You can safly use that to update your PSP?, to v2.00. If you'd like to run *iso's then you can use the MPH Downgrader to do so. Otherwise you can use the Fanjita 2.0 EBOOT Loader v0.9 to run most Hombrew Games, Emulators and Apps. You can NOT however run *.iso's on v2.00.

Again anything ABOVE v2.00 **CAN NOT** currently run any Homebrew or *.iso's. (e.g. v2.01, v2.50 or v2.60),...
