okay lets set a few things straight beofre i begin to flame torrent leech. they are the best site. there rules make sure people upload and dont just hit and run. they're strict rules are great. the always get the newest torrents and offer the best download speeds.
now time for the flaming part
okay what the hell are you supposed to do when you first sign up for this site. everyone is a seeder so you literally cant seed cause they are like 10 times the seeders than leechers. so yesterday my first day i decide to get four brothers. looks great 100 seeders and only 5 leechers. to most people this sound sgood. HELL NO. i must have been out of my mind to download this becaus i cant uplaod everyone i connect to is a seeder so how the hell am i supposed to upload. and you have to get to a .6 ratio on every torrent even when there are no leechers WTF?. so i go on the forums and ask for help because i dont want to get banned. everyone recommends downloading a torrent with more leechers. well that is kind off obvious. but IT DOESNT WORK. so everytime i try to get a torrent with alot of leechers you dont get access to it because you are a new user. they make you wait for like 48 hours. by the time 48 hour is up there are all seeders and no leechers. then you cant upload. so how do you get started on this site. i am afraid of downloading files with alot of seeds because how are you supposed to help seed when you finish with no leechers. i dont want to get banned. THIS IS GOD DAM FRUSTRATING. Everyone else is trying to seed 1:1 and there is no room for other's to seed.
I love torrent leech and love to seed all these free things that people are nice enough to upload but how can you upload on this site.? before getting banned.

This works out fine for everyone else. You have to seed for longer time thats all, remember not everyone can start donwloading at the same time because of wait times, so maybe wait 12hrs before something happens again

the wait time is not a problem. this is not why i am mad. the problem is you need to seed on this site or good bye. the time to seed is when they're are leechers. so by the time the wait is over there are no more leechers left so how do you seed if theer is no one to seed to.?

Jump on the earliest torrent u can or download porn. When I started at leech I had to seed a bunch of porn to get my ratio back.

I had problems with torrentleech a few months back. I downloaded a game but I just couldn't seed it. I kept my computer on for a few days but it didn't help. I PMed a mod for help but I never got a response. A few days later, I was banned. Also, TL is the only site Ive had this problem. Its easy to maintain a >1 ratio at other sites.

Firstly TL is no punk ass public tracker where leeches can bleed the place dry !!
secondly if there were no strict rules everyone would hit n run then no one would get any thing
thirdly the wait times in TL are there for a reason You have to prove yourself !!! its all about balancing the torrents out lol :)
everyone who signs up, has signed up has gone through this and plenty have made power user / mod/ admin/uploader they dont seem to have any problems , all you have to do is watch the torrents no point dling a 4gb file if only 10 people have it after your 48hr wait time , it usually means its crap and no one wants it
if you dont like the rules or the limits my advice is go elsewhere TL dont need you :)

celticfc1 is right,I got banned because of the seeding part but I'm lucky enough to have another account so I'm taking this one for granted. :-D

well i have fixed my problem now. what i did was get a unnamed xbox 360 file by PI ;). some of you might now what this is. anyway i had to wait the stupid 48 hours but there is 170 seeds and 400 lecchers :). i have been seeding for not even one day and i managed to upload 1.7 gb. my ratio is now above one. since i dont need this file i am not going to download to much and seed like crazy. that way i can have a ratio way above 1 and leave my self room. what i would recomend for new users to torrentleech is dont get yourself in the whole as soon as you sign up you cannot get banned until you download 5 gb. so download a movie like a DVD-R which has lots of leechers because of it's size. download like 25 % (even if you dont want it) and just let it upload for days straight. if you want other torrents on this site that have to mnay seeds and no leechers dotn even bother because it is going to be hard to get your .6 ratio so just go to another site that you dotn risk being banned off this wonderful site. Celticf1 i like this site i am just explaining it is hard to get started. It is good that these rules exist when you look at a tracker like piratebay when all thse people with bad connections mess up everything and dont share they only take form members that do share. It is good on torrentleech because ifg you dont seed good bye and if you dont want to seed you can pay cash to be on the site which helps things run smoothyl aswell. I am just saying it is veyr hard to start here. and to users that have hardly anyupload bandwidth, when you start here set your download limit to about the same as your max uploas so that you dotn download to much and find it hard to seed before you are banned.

What email client are you using most email clients class this as spam. If you set an email adress up with yahoo they have a folder for spam mail received so there is no confusion.
Aout the seeding part I find that on the night if you put your upload up really high you might end up losing speed with your downloads but at the end of the day it is far more important to seed a downloaded file rather than d/l another file too fast as you will just end up with about seven torrents all at 2gb to seed which really does take the piss! :)
Also another method that works is download purely for 2 days while uploading normally then when your 3/4 files are done don't start a new torrent and just purely upload for 1/2 days and crank it up beyond max when you go to bed.

Tubacuba I find blackct games, torrentleach and bitsoup are all extremely fast aslong there is more than ten seeders. :)

I just gave them like 30 bucks and now I can just download whatever and not have to upload anything, I still do upload a little but the point is I don't have to. So for the people that can't seem to seed try that, 30 bucks for 3 months is not that bad.

hi paul1085 just to let you no your advice did work for me, now i just have to go n make sure i dont get banned, to be honest i do do a lot of seeding back but i seem to find you download a hell of a lot quicker than you can upload, i also think by making a small donation to the site it helps keep it going and its like a sort of thankyou for being able to get the downloads in the first place, allthough i do think you have a point in what you are saying.

allot of us VIP members are seeders, we just use the VIP so we dont have to cap download speeds to keep the ratio in balance. i can down at over 500 kB/s but only up at 50, without the VIP account i'd have to cap my download speed to 50 to keep any sort of decent ratio. for those who dont want to pay the membership all you have to do is cap your down speed to match your up and seed for at least a .6 or 3 days to prevent a hit and run, you can download samples from movies and seed them to keep your ratio up.

kc i probably will donate and become a vip cos iv paid in the past to other sites n like iv mentioned b4 i think it helps to keep the site going, can i just ask y my downloads are freezing i never used to have this problem so y has it started doing it now?

if your having download problems and there are seeders and lechers (yes you download from leaches too) then it's a problem on your end of the line or your ISP is blocking, allot of ISPs are starting to set up blocking software for P2P software.
if i have active torrents to download i usually get connected at 500+ kB/s, even connected to the uploader on a few minuet old torrent i get at least 150-200 till more people get on leaching, then it goes up.

my isp is aol at the moment do u no whether or not they do have any blocking software in use n if so is there anything i can do. i actually go thru FireFox as aol will not allow me on to most torrent sites.
