I have recently accquired MGS3: Subsistence and have backed it up on HDD. Unfortunately my PS2 didn't like my disk so it is scratched beyond repair. Would NTSC or PAL Id's work in patching the game. This has only happened to me once. I have a PAL console so would it work online if I use a PAL or NTSC id for the game or not?
Could someone also direct me to the ID as there doesn't seem to be anyone who has got it.

Well, what kind of mod do you have? If you ISO'd the game (and it's a single-layer game) you should just be able to burn it using DVD Decrypter.

I don't know, tell us more about what kind of PS2 you have, and what kind of mods you're using. That'll help us help you (as lame as that sounds :)

Now I know what I need to do, I need to change my machine ID, but I cannot discuss it here. Thanks for the help anyway. Oh and to clear any confusions i meant the HDD in my PC not the PS2 HDD :)
