James Bond 007 From Russia with Love

I have made a backup copy of this game using DVD Decrypter and Maxell Media 4X DVD-R from Japan.

The issue is at the beginning of the game once you have used the back pack and you destroy the helicopter and save the girl.

The girl says "Who are you"
Then Bond says "My name is Bond, James Bond"

Then the film stops and you switch screen. Well after switching screens it stays gray. The DVD is still playing, no sound, nothing.

Just a big gray screen. Do any of you had this issue before?

If so what could be a possible solution.

I backed up that game and got past the part you are talking about with no problems. Perhaps your original was scratched? Try reading the original at a slower speed and then reburning the game.

It was a bad sector in the Media of the original. I brought it back to the rental place and they gave me another one. This time no bad sectors were found and its working fine.
