Hi,

I've looked all over your forum for this but have found no answer so needed to post.

Well i tried to back up my game using dvd-decrypter i did this smoothly following very good easy to use instructions.

The only dvd discs i had were:

Maxwell DVD-RW 2x

Ok so i assume theres something wrong with the disc.
Does it need to be 4x??
Can it be - not +
Is Maxwell a bad make if so what is the best make for this use.
Does it have to be a Dvd-R not a -RW

dvd-rw wont work

Yes DVD-R is good and maxell is a very good media

ok, this is probably the most newbie question their is but if im buying TDK DV 3368 which are 16x will they work on my ps2 when burnt and will they reduce to be able to burn on a 8x burner with no problem?

Ok, after doing some googling on "TDK DV 3368"...
I can confirm that this media is 1st class, with media code TTH02.
However, I am not 100% sure.. do you have a link to the TDK media you are buying?

Also, if you have an 8x burner, then you should probably buy 8x media (this will be cheaper since your burner can't burn at 16x anyways). Also, burn your games at 4x if you have an 8x burner.

If you insist on buying the 16x media, yes it should burn at 8x..but it is reccomended that you burn it at half of your dvd burners max (which is 4x)
