Hi, I just want to find out some feed back about the volume on the psp! I'm fairly disappointed with the volume on mine anyway. With the psp I got a couple games, smackdown v raw is one, and the volume is "ok" while playing it, but nothing great! Then I rented out fantastic 4 and the sound is nothing short of crap I think, especially if there's other people about, that's without the ear-phones and the sound's not much better with the ear-phones in. If there's people about you can hear them over the film! I thought it could be the film so I rented another, and basically it's the same. Is the volume on the psp generally low ? Is there a way to enhance the volume? Thanks.

thats wot mine was like, but me and ma old man took it appart and added a booster for the bass and ect.... i didnt realy do it my dad did wen i dropped it by his house, but now the volume is outstanding, i have it in the house on 5 notches and sometimes thats to loud. But wen i have it on full blast blimey cover your ears you definately wouldnt have to worry bout ppl talkin around you!

Hmmm, wouldn't have a clue about takin it apart to be quite honest but the volume really is pi**ing me off. What I couldn't believe was, my nokia phone, when on loud speaker is actually higher, and for this type of technology and the price range I'd like better.

errrm il tell ya wot 2 do, in major shops that sell psp's and accerories some sell a little plug in speaker that really does make a huge difference because mu cousins got 1, thing is i just cant remember where it plugs in lol. anyway they are good and recomended and the good thing is they are light weight and are no bigger than this:
