This thread is just to give some people advise on desiding on which Graphic cards that is most suited for them.

First off, I'll just like to say its not wize to buy a Geforce 7800 **yett** unless you are very wealthy. It's not wise to this expecially when 2 next gen consols have better gpu's, and the consols cost less than the ge7800 gtx.

My advise for those who are not willing to spend not to much but buying something that is good quality, go for the Geforce mx 6200. Trust me, it's a good card, that sells for 100$. It can render most games and render them with a decent framerate.
http://techreport.com/reviews/2004q4/geforce-6200/index.x?pg=4
Is a website that reviewed the geforce 6200. You would be glad to see that the 6200 can render doom 3 at 30fps at highest resolution.Pretty decent dont you think?
Its a decent card. I advise you get it if your looking for a good quality card, at a low price.

And oh yes, dont be fooled by the Radeon 9600SE. it's 64bitmemory architecture makes its bandwith extreemly low. Trust me i used to have this card, but i refunded it for the 6200. Dont let its fillrate fool you.

And those who are willing to buy a decent card at a medium price range, get the geforce 6600. Good quality card. And those who dont give a sh** about the money, jsut get the top of the line GPU. LOL

For other people who are about to reply on this thread, please dont insult me or anyone else, and suggest a g-card. lol.
If you find any technical mistakes in my post, please, tell me.

yeah man the 6200 for its day 2 or 3 years ago would have been good but you need at least a 6600 gt to play most games and have fun.yeah a sceenshot may look fine but you will probably be playing a slideshow if you want to play todays games with a 6200.the game will lag bad.....buy at least a 6600gt if you need a cheap card and if you are going to spend that much money hold out for the 6800gt or ultras.......peace

who cares the card is junk...bottom line is,i was trying to be nice but now i will just flat out tell you that the 6200 is junk, outdated and dosnt play for s--t.save your money and buy a real card so you can enjoy the games instead of turning everything off to get a 20 fps rate...lol...7800gtx rocks...i have it,i know.waste your money on a 7800 gtx...lmao....your quote not mine.you are out of your mind.these two card are so far apart in the performance of the gpu, ram, etc. i can play anything i want and the owner of a 6200 wishes he could experience what i can.you can not compare junk to a diamond.thats about as close as a 6200 can come to a 7800 gtx ko AC3......try and play fear on high with your junk....have fun watching your slideshow bro...lmao...thats all i have to say....peace

Did i compair the 7800gtx with the 6200?
Obviosly its better.(the 7800)
I didnt say it can render all games perfectly
i said most
Its pretty decent. I didnt say its the best card.
I said if money isnt a problem to you, and want the top of the line card get a 7800.
To me, the 6200 is fine at the moment. Not the best card. BUT ITS NOT THE WORSE CARD. compairing to my old intergrated one, its a hell of alote faster.
And why you all critisizing? Holy shoot, i just recomended a pretty decent card for little money.
OBVIOSLY A 7800 is WAY better than a 6200. But a 7800 is 500$. While the 6200 is 100$

And the quote i said. The xbox360 has a better GPU than the 7800..But the 7800 costs more. Do you now get why i said its sort of a waste of money?

And i dont think you've read my first post either. I said if you are willing to buy a good card at an OK price, go with the 6600. And if you dont care(money wize) go with the 7800.
All you seem to be telling me is ......oOO 6200 is bad and dated. But im pretty sure your card will be date and bad next year aswell. (As i've already said the 6200 was made in mid 2004, but now to you its just a rubish very bad card. And i'm pretty sure that the 6200 was a rather very expencive card when it came out. But..now its just a piece of sh** right? (And unless you are pretty wealthy your self)
Im pretty sure that the 7800 next year boxing week, is going to cost 50-200$, and your gonna be like, crap i bought mine for 500$ or w.e.
Which is another reason why i think the 7800gtx is sort of bad to buy right now. (unless your are a pretty wealthy person) who doesnt mind spending that much money.
Quote:
games instead of turning everything off to get a 20 fps rate
Really? Im pretty sure that on both websites, it stated that with everything off, the card runs at 30-60fps. and min of 20fps with everything on.

The card with the best bang for the buck is undoubtedly the GeForce 6600GT. Great Card. Why spend $100 on a piece of horse dung like the 6200 when for $130 you can get a 6600GT.
