I have been reading over the internet that i can overclock this card to a 6600Gt, or atleast better than it was before, could people please give me advise in order to get the best out of my card, and what tools i would need, and maybe how to use them, this is all i ask, please i really want to make this card better as i have seen many people talking about overlcloking and how succesfull it is.

Note that this card is a Nvidia PNY Geforce 6600LE APGX8 256MB
You'll need to download coolbits & rivatuner from this page http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?id=13 , just go up in 10mhz units & run some kinda benchmark program such as 3Dmark, Aquamark etc, etc till you get artifacts then go back 10-5mhz till they go away , that will be your max overclock .... one other thing to consider is the higher clock speeds the more heat is produced so unless you have improved cooling then keep the o.c sensible otherwise you'll be having lock ups & crashes ;)
I have Gainward 6800LEs for both of my PCs, these are both Rivatuned to 16 pixel pipelines, as opposed to the factory 8 pp! As far as I am aware it was only the gainward cards that had the unlockable pipelines, even then success was not always guaranteed! I can only unlock 5 of the 6 vertex shaders on both my cards.
I am not sure if the 6600LEs were capable of unlocking. It is definitely worth a try & let us know how you get on.
I only OC my cards when benching, which is rarely (don't really wish to barbeque my chip, saying that, it will test each overclock before it will let you keep settings). I just let coolbits forceware mod detect optimum settings & leave it at that.
I got coolbits, and i clicked on the Detect Optimal Frequencies, and it was on original At:
300Mhz Core Clock Frequency
500Mhz Memory Clock Frequency
And then it changed To:
316Mhz Core Clock Frequency
534Mhz Memory Clock Frequency
My question is do you think this is a good speed, for my card, and if i were to make it faster what cooling products will i need, and do you think i will notice a differnce in this change?
