Tried burning king kong onto dvd but didnt work could it be that i should burn it to cd instead

No, it's a dvd game... tell us exactly what you used to backup your game.. type of discs? max speed of discs? what program you used? what your burner is and it's max writing speed? what ps2 hardware you have including which mod?

Do you have DVD Decrypter,Nero or CDRwin? I never heard of gamejack?

Can't help you there then.. not a software I've heard of either. the only thing I can suggest is to use better media than datasafe.. look in the best media thread, link in my sig

Nahhh datasafe might be lower than 4th class media, but it one the most relaible media made, it works with me 100% fine, although shes right about getting other media's cos there are much better such as Maxell you can search it up simply click here its a media guide sou can search what media is better than other but i tell you again datasafe is not made a relaible media to use.
