I need some help connecting with the internet. I have a D-Link-dsl modem but I don't know if u need a wireless router or not. somebody help please!!??

You can use any type of wireless router. I am using a D-Link DI-524. Linksys are also really good too. I would recommend a D-Link or a Linksys router. There are others out there too, really any of them should work just fine. People will give you different recommendations depending on the experience they have had with them.

Yeah as he said , Netgear is also a good brand .. 54mb/s WGR614

802.11G But is fully backward compaitble with 102.11b

thats a good choice of router , what i have atm

If you want the distance to be up to 8 times greater then a normal wireless router and backward compatible, then get one with "Pre-N". Now Belkin, D-Link and Netgear all make one. It is well worth the couple extra bucks and made a HUGH difference in my home!

Also, this thread is in the wrong forum and I would suggest to move it to it's rightful place. :)

It is not in the wrong place .. PSP genral discusion he is genrally asking what u need to get internet on the psp ... a wirless router or a cable one ... answer of caurse is a wirless one but yeah it is in the right place ty
