take a minute and read that website link again. dBPowerAMP DMC (the audio converter program) is FREE.
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
Other tools by dBPowerAMP aren't, but the music converter is 100% free.
And like I said in my post above, once you install DMC, you need to download the real audio codec from the codec page of the website, and it WILL convert real audio files.
I know what I'm talking about man, many of us here have been using and recommending this program for years.

Hi djscoop, I have been following this thread, and have a similar problem. I downloaded all that you have advised, I run the program, it says converting then I only get a 5kb file which obviously has nothing, so what am I doing wrong. I wish to convert ram file to mp3 or other useable format to burn onto my cd. Help thanks

Yes I did. Any ideas? Thanks
Sorry, I tried it on some new files it worked fine converting to WAV files. I guess it would work on MP3 too then?
I tried converting to MP3 and it said that "CODEC required to compress my file could not be opened" and following err message appeared:
"Error creating mp3 compressor, try different encoding frequency and bitrates."
What does this all mean, please help.
Thanks again
