What's the difference between no solder chip and solder?

And which is better?

It's self explanatry.. with one you have to solder it into your ps2 and the other you don't, it just clips onto the relevant places.

It depends on what you mean by "which is better" - if you mean quality of the chip then shouldn't be any difference if it's the same chip...
