Hey guys, I just downloaded True Crime Streets of New York City, and tried to open the first .rar using WinRar. An error window came up saying "The archive is in either unknown format or damaged". I think followed the instructions on the sticky, and downloaded HJSplit v2.2. This didnt work either. Please help.. :)

google for a sfv checker, download it,and run the sfv file

this will tell you what file is damaged

then just re-download the damaged file

also......sometimes you can download a torrent, and it will say 100%,when in actual fact its not....in which case, you need to re-open the torrent file in a different client .....like azureus

have you tried opening them with WinRAR....

does WinRAR recognise them?,,(are they shown as unknown files?)

right click on one,and select "open with",select WinRAR from the list,or even isobuster
