Happy hew year to everyone, and I'm also "new" here, this is a great site!
I have been using Nero for a couple of years and have been very happy with it, currently have the last version of nero 6 before 7...
There is one thing I CANNOT figure out how to do, I've looked all around the site and read all the guides, asked people I know and I'm at my wits end!
It goes like this: when I burn "regular" DVD (VIDEO_TS) files to a disc I always use nero express, add the files and boom, it's done...
the problem is now I have a bunch of PAL discs I got from a friend in Europe that I want to copy...
You need to use Nerovision 3 to convert PAL to NTSC and it works GREAT for that, but when I add the vob files to burn, each file comes up as it's own new nero button as you know, but the original menus and chaptors will NOT work after the DVD is burned, no matter what I try...
I don't want new menus, I want to be able to use the existing
pre-authored menus and chaptors and just burn it straight across while doing the PAL transfer...
In some cases, the DVD won't even play right when burning this way! Sometimes it will play but you can never access the menus or audio options buttons, etc, etc...
I don't know why I can't access the NTSC options in nero express, maybe it's possible but I can't seem to be able to do it...
Can somebody PLEASE tell me what I'm doing wrong or whatever it is to get this right, I only have a limited amount of time to copy these discs and need to get to the bottom of this!!
