Then you'll need a "Despertar del Cementerio" (DaX Pandora Battery).

Yes, turn it off and put them in... but i have a feeling you're using the C + D unbricker... i don't know if that will work.

You can't do that from recovery, you'll have to get a DaX Pandora.

You'll have to get custom firmware, downgrade your 3.71 using another Pandora Battery (Ready made), then up to 3.52 M33 to make the Pandora Battery on your own PSP.

i tried to make a pandora 3 times and it didn't work. I tried formating the memory using cmd, my computer (right clicking) and even formating using psp. But everytime, it gets screwed and everything just turns black. I have old psp, 1 gb memory, 2gb fake memory, and regular battery. What do i do?
Also, my outer case (the black thing) is cracked. I want to send it to sony, but i have custom firmware. What do i do?

Hi everyone, I've recently received this psp phat v3.51 as a gift and read threw this thread and was wondering other than go with all the risks and find someone with another psp with custom firmware that can run homebrew.
what if I bough a Pandora battery ? I found some sites selling the battery called Tool:
Info
*****************************
# Special TOOL version of our PSP battery works in exactly the same way as a standard SONY PSP battery but has the ability to put your PSP into service mode for custom firmware use.
# TOOL functionality is hard-coded into the battery.
# Same 1800mAh Lithium Polymer cell as our standard battery.
# Available NOW!
*****************************
What shall I do next ? I mean how to create the magic memory card and then how to can go from there.
I am totally new to psp , and games in general.
If you can help , i would really appreciated.
best regards.

You'll have to use the Pandora GUI, made by mrdude, to make the Pandora Memory Stick with a PSP that has official firmware.
Other than that, yes, you can use the TOOL battery in place of the Pandora Battery.

Just buy a tool battery and make the memory stick with the GUI, then you don't need a second PSP.

Now this sound better thanks <33
just last thing i want to make sure what i read about these stuff is right
So Tool battery is = to Pandora Battery ?
So All i have to do is make a Memory stick then ? Do you mind post exactly how to make a magic memory stick ? [ sorry about that ] I just don't want to make any errors.
Then later i just just follow the steps to unbrick the psp ?
once I am done with the unbrick, i will be 1.5 firmware , right ? then i can update it to which ever custom firmware i want ?

Yes, yes, yes, and yes again :)
Here's the GUI: http://www.sendspace.com/file/30vzs5
All you need to do is follow all the steps (It lays them out very clearly and easily), just stop before the end where it says "run the battery creator".

Do it manually, don't rely on Installers all the time.
I would do it manually if I had access to a cfw psp. But all I have is a slim now. Oh wells.

OK I followed the instructions to a "t" for the easy installer. Looked like every was good. Now when I put the magic memory stick and the pandora battery on my psp, it doesn't boot up or do anything. The green light goes on but the screen is black. Can anyone help. I have a fhat psp with 3.40 oe cfw. I did notice after the fact that while I was making this pandora battery, I had a UMD in the psp the whole time. Could this have screwed things up? Any help is much appreciated. I hate to have wasted a Sony battery for nothing.

Hey everyone, the Tool battery still hasn't arrived.. I'm going to send an email and ask what's up, seeing as I got an Order Complete email on the 18th of last month.
Egh, I'll update once I know for sure, I'd really like to do some homebrew sometime :)

Thanks man :) I did send an email and got an auto-reply, turns out it was officially shipped on the 27th of Sept. and the it's already gone through a Delivery Scan, so I should get it today! I hope I get it before work starts lol.
EDIT: Went ahead and installed the files on the memory stick with Pandora's Box GUI via Sandisk Mobil Mate card reader. Everything went good, now I just need the battery :)
