I had a PAL downloaded backup of Sims2. It was gray and flipping so I redid it with pal 2 ntsc. Now I have a color screen but it is frozen on the very first screen. Before when it was gray it would continue past this screen. What do i do?!?!

pal 2 NTSC patching has always been a sketchy process in my experience.
you might want to try redownloading the game in NTSC format, if all else fails.
