Cannot oin my 2 avi files come up audio error?

i have 2 avi files on my harddrive the same movie split in 2 when i try to join them together using nandub or virtuadub it says

cannot append segments : the audio streams have different sampling rates 15771,00000 vs 15761,00000

never came across this b4 anyone any ideas?

try useing virtual dub to extract the audio to wave then reincode it at the same copression (both parts)then join them together.
