i have a sony ps2 SLIM and i dont know how to play online i have been searching the internet for along time loking for how to play online. i have read things sucb as all i need is a internet connectio (which i have and have plugged into the back of my ps2) others have said i need a network configuration cd which i dont think came with the ps2 and i have looked that up on the web with no luck of finding any thing that isnt for the larger ps2 ( which is not built with the internet connter thingy in the back) please some one relpy soon i have already beaten my christmas games and am borded out of my mind.

i think you need an expansion pack that goes in the bacck of your ps2

ok you don't need an expansion pack for the slim ps2(the network adapter is already been built into it)..but you will need the network configuration cd to install and boot the network up...you should be able to get one online or from a gaming store...i would go with the gaming store choice, you can get a used one for CHEAP...good luck, holla ;)

you don't even need the network configuration cd as most online games have network configuration in them. When you go to play online it'll ask you to choose a connection, you choose new and it takes you through the steps of configuring the settings.

You dont need the network setup disk for tons of games, only a few old games require them most new games have the setting up feature built in, but if you register you slimline ps2 on Sony PS2's official site, they will send you a free network setup disk, when i registered 2 slimline consoles they did send me the network setup disks with a demo disk free.
