I need help I have a 10 year old son that loves to play his ps2. Well you how kids are disk get scratched and then don't work.Is there any way to copy the orginal disk and use them without a mod chip.

SEARCH, SEARCH, and SEARCH... next time and you'll find tons of answers. The answer is NO... you'll need some kind of aftermarket modifications ie modchip, Swap Magic, Flip Top/slide card/tool, etc. to boot up your PS2 backup games. You can't just backup any PS2 games and play it like original.
