This is my first problem using nero version 6.3.1.25 and trying to burn a perfect copy of Hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy. I say perfect as it looks perfect on the hard drive when viewed. But when trying to burn it has write error at #27CDR - 1135 File Writer.ccp, Line 304, followed by: #28 text 0 file threaded transfer.cpp, line 229 all writers idle, stopping conversion. Then later at #33 Phase 38 File dlgbrnst.cpp,Line 1855 Burn process failed at 8x (11,080 kb/s). This has happened twice at roughly the same spot. (X2 drink coasters for the coffee table). Hope you can help because I am stumped!
Am happy to place nero error log on After Dawn forum if you tell me what to omit so that I can maintain an anonamous status. Cheers
(It should be mentioned that the original was backed up using Decrypter then shrink. The video quality looks fantastic on hard drive, thogh I havnt watched from begining to end only jumped from scene to scene and checked out special features. All work fine on hard drive :-)

Firstly thanks for responding, But Im not quite sure what you mean. Basically the file is ripped to hard drive by decrypter then shrunk with shrink. The video file is added to nero to burn (as I have always done) but it gets half way through before I get burn fail. What do you mean by: "output from DVD shrink to DVD Decrypter to burn" and Im not sure which options your talking about? Cheers.

Ok now you've got me intrigued. Firstly this technique worked like a charm. You alone have stopped me from premature baldness by stopping me from ripping my hair out! secondly, why did this technique work when nero failed? Why did nero fail? Once again, cheers mate for the help :-)

hi

its just i have been around for a long time and i see problems like yours alot! nero fails again! nero is so complex nowadays where dvd decrypter is a simple and dam excellant app...

also grab imgburn from maker of DvdD its free and a better burn engine still!

output as iso and use imgburn....

[did you turn off nero in PREFERENCES ??? if not you may have burnt with it????]
