I've recently been surfing the internet on my Psp using my wireless router and whenever I try saving any clips or videos to the memory stick it won't give me the option to save to the VIDEO section, rather in the photo or music or common folder. If I do save in any of these folders they still appear empty when I check them, however it says I have less room on my memory stick as if it has been saved.
Any help on locating or deleting these files without formatting my psp would be greatly appreciated.
Anybody have any ideas? I've lost about 5meg from a 32 meg stick from a few clips i've tried saving but are nowhere to be found, the memory went from 23 to 18m after saving these.
What firmware are you running? You must be running firmware 2.0 or higher and using the Sony Web Browser? I have firmware 1.5 installed so I don't even have a web browser to use. Well unless you count the homebrew browsers out there. In the case of your question about the video folder, the reason it doesn't give you a video folder option is because they don't save videos into a 'video' folder. The PSP makes a MP_ROOT folder which contains 2 folers. The one that has an 'M' in the filename is where the videos go, but they have to be in MP4 format. As far as where it's saving them to your memory stick, I haven't a clue. :(
Ahhh, There is an option to save in one of the folders you mentioned but I wasn't sure if I should, im running version 2.00. Thanks alot for the help, ill try saving there and see what happens.
Ok, i've worked out what to do to save files, any ideas on how to locate the files I saved in the wrong folders? The folders appear empty but the files took up space so they're definatly there somewhere =S
