This year is going to be wicked in terms of console supremity.I sold my 360 for £500 .Yes handy cash but lets see who wins I want the best,and dont believe in company loyalty ,like a lot of people posting in forum.I might end up with another 360 who knows, end of the day its started to heat up if you pick up linkabove .One things sure I can sit back and enjoy the show the dust has settled lets see who wins.

one sentence can decide that----- 1080p HD = ps3
can't buy anything else with that res and its got a dvi port as well!,gaming side's gonna be down to the programmers as they're soo different in architecture (spelling??!) and both have pro's and con's but just for a 1080p dvd player the ps3 wins, graphic detail the ps3 wins(don't wanna hear any argument on that one,ps3's the only one with true HD),however for multimedia,having a hard drive would be an advantage and M$ online features are unmatched so 360 wins there,although the ps3's input system is slightly unclear as yet.
i think it'll be a repair war myself with both company's trying to keep the cost down as much as possible and making some errors whilst doing this as already seen by the 360 faults,hopefully sony have got ten thousand ps3 consoles in a desert running 24 hours to make sure they run ok under heat!,somebody should've told M$ to do this,then they wouldn't of ruined peoples christmas.

for me it comes down to games.. I enjoy role playing/sims and first person. I live out in the country so no broadband service. thats why i would probably get a revolution(zelda was always a favorite)ps3(ff series here) I just hope the guys come out with a dedicated title like these two did...anyway my thoughts.

I agree its down to games now we have to see the real games that come out for 360 ,the games out just now are not next generation just tarted up old gen.But whether you like it or not 360 now is old hat everyone looks to the east ,if you didnt get a 360 by crimbo time your going to wait ,to see what sony come up with just a few weeks more and well see whether its turkey time in easter or caviar in spring.
If you browse around the next big thing for the 360 is to be water cooled why should the ordinary punters have to dish out more dosh on what should have been sorted in development.Will the 360 be able to handle being toasted everytime its played over a long period.Will the psx3 be any better lol lets see
