I am trying to use bitcomet and ive selected weeds to not only watch but put to a dvd for my own use. everytime I try to click on the file itself it says "torrent task existed". I have uploaded more than i have downloaded so I am not sure I understand. How can I watch these and possibly put them to dvd. One of those problems that i cant sleep until resolved.

Well first of all u need WinRAR to extract the goodies from the compressed file. U should have an extention ended w/ .rar (looks like a stack of books) if u do not have this, I need to know what the file extentions are that u do have. ie: .AVI, .VOB, .img, .bin/cue?. Then we can move on further ;-D

No sig for u!.

this is what my file looks like

Weeds.S01E08.HDTV.XviD-LOKi

I finally found out how to get the file to open, is it possible to convert the file to make a dvd from the source.

Yes, u can use vso divxtodvd (it used to be freeware but not sure if it is anymore u might be able to find it) or, I use winavi. Just load the .avi, select ur output directory and convert and burn w/ nero or ur fav. burning software.

Could also google "convert avi to dvd" and look at the many different software choices u have ;-D

~*@DVDBack23, u beat me to it ;-D*~

No sig for u!.

Another alternative, one I use frequently, is TheFilmMachine. Use the Quenc encoder, 1 or 2 pass, depending how much time you have to kill ;), and let it run and then as Cbrooks said, Burn the resulting Video_ts folder with Nero or your burning software.

Good luck!

Cbrooks,

Im just too quick :)

Regardless of who won i appreciate the quick response. I would like to put multiple files on a dvd. Is there a way to convert to AVI. I have in the past taken AVI files and put them onto dvds. I have noticed that the mpeg format is 29.7 frames per sec and i think the file i dl is in high def (maybe) and it I believed is around 23 or so. Any comments. New to bittorrent and loving just need to hammer out the details. Thanks for the help.

Instead of starting another thread, the file completely downloaded and turned into a folder. the folders contents are sfv files (which I looked up in the glossary) and dvdr. and the files are numbered 1-87. How do u convert that to a dvd compliant folder to possibly burn with decryptor or Nero.

After running WinRAR all of my files were made into 1 iso file. After I made a disk through decryptor I tried to play it in my dvd player and i received this message: Playback Prohibited By Area Limitations

Now I understand that different region codes can come into play with p2p but I also thought I understood that decryptor would bypass all region codes to enable the dvd to be region free. Any feedback?
