voyager 105 configuration for port forwarding

im a complete novice at this .so be patient
i own a bt voyager 105 and wish to configure the port opening
on entering the configuration there is nothing showing for the "default gateway " this might be a lame question but does anyone know how i can obtain the address

Yo, i also have the bt voyager 105 adsl modem and i'm on WXP SP2 using AOL. I think to port forward you need a router the voyager 105s a modem, i think they're two different things. Over the past couple of days ive been looking into port forwarding too, but have come to the conclusion that you need a router as well as a modem as there arent any options about ports with the voyager 105 as well as loads of forum post saying that you need a router to port forward, but don't take my word for it i could be wrong! Also i'm not sure whether it'd increase d/l speed anyway for me

to obtain the adress follow these easy steps;

1. Go to Start->Run
2. Type "CMD" (no quotes of course for any of these)
3. Type in "Ipconfig/all"
4. Youre gateway will be there along with other important info like youre ip adress and such.
