In Edit Movie-- CUT sliders causes Freeze: Anyone ??

I have OEM Nero 6.6 that came with my Sony DVD burner. In the Edit Movie mode, the Left Cut Slider Button works just fine BUT the clicking on the Right Cut Slider Button causes my computer to Freeze. All non-critical background processes have been shut down when I use Nero or WMM since they are so memory intensive.

Anyone have this problem and a fix for it?

My first response from NeroSupport did not read my email since he implied that my OEM version doesn't have all the features of the full retail version. I cannot believe the Cut Slider would be disabled in an OEM version. If true, I will never buy the full retail version.
