ok, heres the deal. I'm a cheap bastard and I just got a 360(core system) and a game. I got it home and played Quake 4 for a good amount of time then I realized that i could not save the game.

Well to make a long story short i need to be able to save my games
and don't have any storage devices, But i do have 2 thumb drives and a psp with 3 mem sticks a 32mb, 256mb, and a 1GB stick. I tried to use all of them but all i can do is listen to music and view photos.
when i try to make a new gamer profile its says "please connect an xbox 360 storage device". i REALLY don't want to buy a memory card or HDD. Any Advice?

My advice is to buy a hard drive or a memory card becasue those are your only two options! A usb jumpdrive might work but i doubt it. A memory card retails at $40. I bet you could get one on ebay for 30 something. If you can wait a few months im sure some third party memory cards will come out and they will be cheaper than the microsoft one.
