Well if no one has figured out a simple way to play GT4 on your HDD without too much of a hastle your lucky day if finally here. I don't know if anyone has figured it out yet.

Be sure to get a copy of HDAdvance 3.0, as this is the only way to play GT4 easily. Go to http://www.hdadvance.com and there will be some links to other sites to get a copy.

Since this is a new look at copying DVD 9 format games to your PS2 you can't simply install it to your HDD through converting and play. Yet it won't be as hard as applying ppf pathces and all that other stuff. Just a couple of steps and your ready to play. Let's get started!

Get DVD Decrypter from http://www.hdadvance.com/SetupDVDDecrypter_3.5.4.0.zip and install it.

Now make sure your GT4 disc is inserted in your computers DVD drive.
Then just choose the folder you want DVD Decrypter to copy it to. Plus make sure it's an ISO file and of course choose where your DVD drive is located at.

Now if everything went ok your ready to copy to your PS2 HDD. At this point you have to have your HDD conected to your computers IDE port. You can use any program of your choice to copy files to the HDD from your computer. I used WinHIIP. You can get this from http://forums.psxforum.com/download.php?id=2539

Now once your program is opened click add image or whatever it says on your program. When GT4 is installed on your HDD don't just take it out right away. If your program has mode selection for your games then good. If not HDAdvance has mode selection. Anyway make sure you have Mode 3 enabled. If that doesn't work have both mode 3 and 2 enabled. If that doesn't work something didn't go right during copying. So if yours still didn't work I reccomend starting from the beginning.

Since this is a DVD 9 remeber that you can't play this on any other program like HDAdvance 2.0 or 1.0. Mine works smooth with a clear image and has never yet froze nor reset.
