I just got a psp i wasn't planing on playing pirated games so i upgraded to 2.6 but i would like to watch movies off of the memory stick (when i get a 1gig stick) but upgrading did i screw myself or will movies still work.

just curious what was your firmware b4 upgrade?

and there wont be any problems with playing movies as long as they are mpeg4's

i would help you.tell me on ur psp box there is a a letter b/w A-F.which A=1.0 b=1.5 c=1.51 d=1.52 e=2.00 f=2.01

after the psp-xxxx (a letter from a-z),there is a txt says "120v" below 120 v there is WSxxx then a letter b/w A-F. dunno if it help.but basicly once we upgraded to 2.6 we cant do much abt the rippes stuff.so all we can do is just waiting for a new hax stuff. such umd emulator for 2.6 :P i know this cuz i've been researching hours to downgrade my 2.6 back to 1.52 :P
