Nero Recode 2 - AVC Baseline Profile

Is it possible Nero will ever update their profiles/code to include a baseline profile for AVC encoding? It would be very cool if AVC videos encoded by Nero were QuickTime/iPod compatible.

Is there anyway to encode video using Nero Recode 2 with AVC and make it compatible for playback on the iPod? As far as I know there isn't.
