Hi, Looking for some help, i have just recived swap magic through the post and tryed to play a backup game using it. I have the new fliptop slimline ps2, it loads swap magic fine but when i open it up to put the back up game in it says "not a valid ps2 disk" then then i press x to boot it wont load, but if i put a real ps2 game in it will say the same but will load up fine. do i ahve to use the 3 tools to get it to work even tho i have a flip top ps2 and ive tryed installing them but cant get the third tool to fit in at the hinge ! can anyone give me some advice please !

The slim PS2s have a little reset switch that tells the PS2 the lid is open. You either have to use one of those tools to keep that little switch down, or fashion a device to keep it down permenantly.

cheers ! bloody nightmare tho int it trying to get the third tool in so it hits the sensor and lets it think the lid is shut ! been at it all day ! any tip on how to get it in the right place ? ave been trying what intracutions say, what sorta sensor is it like a button i need to get or sumit ?

you think thats what i need ? i have a different tool c from the one in that picture ! that may well be the problem, anyidea on where to get that new tool from ?

I'm not sure. I dont have a slim, I have a chunky PS2. I thought all those tools were the same. Maybe someone else might chime in to take over for me.

Is the too c you have just a square shape,if so then you might have the one that goes inside the playstation.
