Hi havent been on this site for awhile but once using it again i see how good it was. (well done to the members and Staff @ afterdawn ) :) Anyways i know my problem has probely been answered in the 117 pages of this forum but i have looked for the answer without joy which has become tedious, so i am just gonna ask ( sorry to all the members and regular posters for the hassle) .I have a white imported version 1.50 psp with all the Homebrews and fastloader, umd emulator installed and working fine. But as you know some games like GTA LC need 2.00 to inable play. But i wanna make SURE i can upgrade it to play and downgrade as many times as i wish without Bricking my psp is this Possible???? and where can i get the downgrader and instructions from which are tried and tested ??? Thanks for those who reply

How the hell did you get a white psp fw 1.50
They were ONLY made with fw 2.0 and up
Did you downgrade or something?

In theory you can upgrade and download just about as many times as you want. No one has tried doing it dozens or hundereds of times to find out the long term effects. Chances are VERY low that switching back and forth a few times will hurt anything. Look at it this way: count the number of upgrades Sony has released since the launch of the PSP. Something like 5 or 6 right? They expect you to write to the memory at least that many times. Upgrading and downgrading writes to the memory the exact same way, so changing the firmware a couple times should hurt nothing.
