ok now here is the first problem try to understand its a bit complicated and confusing.
ok i got a dvd movie lord of war copied one from a friend i wanted it to copy it i inserted it in my dvd rom and an empty memorex dvd+r in my dvd writer and then when i copy the disk it says cannot copy disk. again what ever i do i cannot copy that disk even it does not created an image it is problem not from this dvd movie but several other dvd movies also .if i put the dvd it dvd writer then ican create an image.but the other softwares like clone dvd i can copy dvd to dvd even when inserting dvd movie in dvd rom and empty dvd in dvd writer .
2 now the second problem is however i write the dvd movie or ps2 game i copy using nero or clone dvd . when i put that copied dvd into ps2 it works even the game works but when i use that dvd in dvd rom it gives some kat kat sounds and says data corrupt but that same dvd opens in my dvd writer so wat do u all say i write on 8x on memorex dvd+r.
re Memorex (Ugh), partial quote from my fave Memorex link from my sig -
Quote:the trouble with people like Memorex is they use widely varying quality in disc manufacturers, the most appalling being CMC Magnetics (hence the media code 'CMC Mag'). Memorex aren't the only ones who do this, others are HP, TDK, Imation etc.
The trouble is, you wouldn't know which ones you're gonna get, just buy picking up a pack of Memorex. And that's part of the reason why so many people have problems with them, they see the name Memorex, associate it with quality cassettes (for instance) in the dim distant past etc etc, and it's the luck of the draw as to what disc manufacturer actually made them. Hence why i won't buy Memorex, HP, TDK, Imation etc etc etc. There are ways with some companies discs, to work out which ones you're gonna get, ie what sort of tubs they're in, are they -R, what speed are particular discs etc etc but most people on the street just haven't got that knowledge and just don't care about all that. I have feet in both camps, i need to have knowledge of media, but i just want media to work, and work consistently and for good :)
