i have a core pack and i put a copy xbox game in the 360 i havent got a hard drive and i put the xbox 1 backup game in and it sead you need a hard drive to play origanl xbox games so if any 1 has a hard drive put a backup game in ya 360 it should work

no, probably the first thing it did was reconize it as a x-box 1 game then went looking for the software on the hard drive to play x-box 1 games didn't see it then kicked out the "no hard drive error".
my guess is if you had the hard drive it probably would have said "can't read disc" or "not a game disc".

Tried it & it doesn't work. It recognized that it was an xbox game immediately and asked me if I wanted to download an update from xbox live to play the game. I downloaded the update and then it came up with a message saying it can't play the disc(must have some sort of security against playing backed up xbox games just before running the executable).
