Hey I have an unlocked nokia. But for some reason it still will not work with sim cards that are not of the original service provider. Don't get me wrong, the phone IS unlocked. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? Please post your fixes, I really appreciate it

then the phone is still locked to the original provider. What happen when you insert a sim card from another provider. is there an error message? pls post.

Remove the SIM card, Power On your Cell phone.
Press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
If it still says Restriction on after you have entered the code, then the code is incorrect.
If it says Restriction Off, then the phone is unlocked.
