This is from a store's website. I just bought a new CDRW/DVD player which is a Lite-On. I was wondering by the CD write speed. Does this mean it will burn music onto a CD? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I know nothing about this and just wanting to if that's what it means before I buy it. -- Thanks.

Yes it will burn music/data CD's also, 48X is the mas speed.
