I have a question that maybe you can help me with.

When you open your PC, you're supposed to be grounded or discharge any static electricity.

So, when I have to open my PC I usually power off the PC, unplug the power and any other device that has its own power supply connected to the PC.

I havent got a grounding device but as like a car, i will touch the metal to discharge any static, like you would do before filling your car with petrol.

So from there I will touch the PC case to discharge any static electricity (if any).

Im wondering if this is enough to protect my ciruits and peripherals inside the PC?

Yes thats enough. Thats all I do plus sometimes I just hold my left arm on the case since im right handed and can put something together witthout using my left arm.:>

If yeah really parnoid you can get a antistatic strap for like 8.00 usd at best buy, but i think its a waste of money personally. Yeah know what else I do? I literally tie a piece of copper wire to my wrist sometimes and clip the wire to the case using a alligator clip found at any auto parts store.:>

Not to get to off topic, but to clean the PC use an air brush to clean it not a rag.
