Hei
I can't get my ssx on tour backup to work! It contains a system and a sles file and a data folder. It's about 1.5 gb so i think it is rebuilt. I used a traxdata dvd+r disc and I burned it with nero. The problem is that the game wont load. Can the swap magic 2.0 be the problem? Or do anyone else have any idea what it could be?

have you used them disk b4 due to alot of older ps2 not likeing + disks and thosae disks are ok for movies but not really suitable for your ps2 to burn with Nero you need to select the last option plus they have to be in a certain order to play

So you think the disc is the problem? Which one would you suggest? Should I burn the game with DVD Decrypter instead?

don't worry if u have +R discs. with Nero u can book-type it and it will becom dvd-rom. so even old ps2 can play it.

But I still have some problems. I have rebuilt and book-typed the game just like in alckhol's guide. The problem appears when I'm trying to burn the game. I can't change the book type to dvd rom and it doesen't change automatically on Nero burning room either.
This is what happends with DVD Decrypter.

Your dvd writer cant booktype.If u downloaded the iso image probably thats the problem.Its just not good.If it was a donwloaded iso it could be a problem with it(iso image).Check your burn speed as well.You shoud not burn at a speed higher than 4x.

Yeah, it is a downloaded iso image. Is it impossible to make work then? Or should I download a new image? I'm burning at 2x.

if you have the time try rebuilding it checking no dummy files

also have you tryied a dvd loader as you are only using sm 2.0

If it was me instead of wrecking any more dvds i would try to download another one and see if it works.But its only my opinion.Its up to you what to do.But first you could try to rebuid it as Click_Me said.If you need any help on rebuilding try the search button on the top of the page.You will find helpfull guides about it.Good luck.

Hi i have ssx on tour as well downloaded and i cant seem to get it to work? can i ask what you did .. There are 3 files what order do they have to be in ( if thats what the problem was) Files listed >system.cnf....sles.xxxx...and data.
