I recently purchased the cd "FOO FIGHTERS - IN YOUR HONOUR" around christmas time. I found it to be a great cd to play on my cd player, but when i attempt to play it on my computer it skips. This is frustrating for several reasons.
(1) I cant burn it, so i can play the back ups in my car
(2) I am unable to put it on my ipod.
(3) Cant listen to it on my laptop.
So, I ask for anyone ones help on how to fix these problems.
Thanks Speedy

I've never owned an ipod, but from my understanding, you can only load music onto it from itunes.com.

No [BOLD]Kimarra[BOLD], you can put songs from a P2P network and cds on your ipod, the songs just go through a conversion. (.MP3 to ACC). So it is not the ipod software. This cd cause your drive to read at slower speeds or something, so that it cause the skips. Anyways i thank you for your time for the response. One way or another I Shall Beat Sony and there PROTECTION

The iPod is capable of playing these formats:

Mp4 (.m4a/.m4p), Wave, AIFF, Mp3, Apple Lossless.

Also WMA is supported by iTunes!

Technically (raw) AAC isn't supported.

You don't have to convert Mp3 files to Mp4 to listen to them either. The only files that have to be converted to Mp4 are WMA files.

It doesn't matter what files my ipod will play, the problem is sony's copyprotection. I need help to by pass so i can have a backup copy for my car, tunes on my ipod and computer. Once I can get past the skipping issue on my comp (and no its not my drive cause every other cd works)
