Have you seen this site? -> http://www.icemodchip.co.uk There's a picture of that modchip, the domain is registered to infinitymods. Have you read the news from 360updates.qj.net? That chip on the picture is everything else but a modchip, it's just a lod of bs.

Ok, a lot of info points to team i.c.e. fake chip, but i think it is real, all the useless propaganda on the net says ice modchip confirmed fake! well if you read through there is absoulutly no proof saying it is fake and just today, the site launched a new update and now they are running a contest to give away 200 modchips via xbox live if you reconize their name (Team I.C.E). I believe it is real other wise they would take down the site or quit updating it. Congrats to Team I.C.E I believe in you guys!!!!! chad

A note to Arcanix, in regards to me living in a dreamworld, i am not and refuse to think that as i am a long time member and hacker of the original xbox, however, i do agree with the information presented by blacklisted411 however, there is no sufficient proof that 100% gurantees fraud. (i know i may sound stupid for beliving this but, when the original xbox came out i also was able to pick fact from fiction...i'll bet $10 bucks that this one is for real) However, Arcanix, i do have a question for you as you are a senior member that i have come to respect in regards to your posting...Heres the ? ... I am having a lot of problems trying to create xbox 360 iso's it is very complicated do you have any advice? or step by step procedures, chad17

Quote "Here's the tool you need for it:
http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/xbox360pc/isotools/pi-xtos1.zip
At this point there's no point ripping 360 games. "
To Arcanix, i realize i am a bit late in the discussion, my prob is that when i open up pi-xtos extractor i get a blank black box that opens quickly then closes, the pgrm doesnt seem to work, also when i go to ftp (file transfer protocol) i have no ethernet connection, is it possible if i buy a usb cable the isos will ftp through that? (As far as i know the 360 has to transfer the files from the system to the pc as did the original, correct; because pc's dont reconize the xbox dvds? Thank you very much, and thnx for the quick response, appreciated greatly, chad17 P.S. have you successfully made a 360 iso (even though there is no point yet?

It's way too early to think about that. We'll see when the first modchip comes out.

ive heard the chip is a fake ad wouldnt as far as burning iso's you would need to de-encrypt the dvd then find the encryption and use it when burning the iso.someone is already working on burning a working iso.as far as the chip i havnt even seen the picture but i hear it looks like the inside of a tv remote.i cant be bothered wasting my time looking at it.
custom built gaming pc from early 2010,ps2 with 15 games all original,ps3 500gbs with 5 games all original, yamaha amp and 5.1channel surround sound speakers,46inch sony lcd smart tv.

You make it sound so easy. Are talking about the signature? Even the signature of old xbox games isn't figured out yet, so why would they find a way to sign 360 games? It's not a plain signature.txt in the root of the disc.

Yep, oddly as it seems, both sites are now down, infinitymods.com and icemodchip.com, very weird, i have doubts myself, still wish it were true (and still hope so) but, there has been a lot of fishy info surrounding the whole scene. Now the sites down, but it says to the owner that he needs to contact the website in which he made his site off of. So, they may had not downed their site but the website company may have......will keep up to date, the chip was supposed to realease within the next 2 to 3 weeks!!! Yikes, losing confidence quickly. Arcanix you may be right. chad17
