im trying to use my cd version of sm3.6 and all it does it bring me to the screen where it has a pic of mem card adn a disk . So i hit the disk and then it spins and goes right back to that same screen again wtf. is it a bad disk?

I'm not sure what "cd version sm3.6" (only new here) but this happens to me every now and then, all I do is start it again a couple of times and it seems to work. My PS2 is chipped.
