Ok guys this is my first time posting and I am looking for some help. I am looking into buying thig computer. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7631501&type=produc... I have always thought AMD proccessors were not as good as intels but it seems that they are a lot better, from what i have read, especially for games. Here's my question, how would that computer with the Athlon 3700+ proccessor compare to a computer with a P4 630 (3ghz) with similar specs? I would only use it for things like AIM, Word, internet browsing, and a little gaming (dont need to do alot of gaming considering I have Xbox 360)

the AMD would be a better performer on the gaming side but really its down to your personal preference whether you choose AMD or Intel.
Personally id go for AMD but its down to you really
