hi if got an NECDVD+RW Nd-1100A burner, Using Data-on 8x DVD+R and i cant get any copies to work (tried + wasted about 20 disks).I think i have tried all the different ways of copying that is listed on this site but still no joy. Can someone please help, Thank you

i have copied a cd based game and it has worked but cant seem to work out how to copy the DVD-rom based games.
First off, do you have the latest firmware for your drive? If not, then you should get it.
Secondly, don't be surprised if you can't burn DVD rom games. Since you seem to be able to run CD games, this must mean that your PS2 CAN play backed up games.
In other words, it's the media you're using. Go out and buy different kinds of DVDRs, until you find what works.
Try both DVD-R and DVD+Rs, and try good media like MCC (Verbatim), Taiyo Yuden discs (fujifilm, last time I boutht some), and TDK.
I agree, probably a media problem. You would be surprised how many people solve all their problems by ditching their cheap media and getting quality stuff.
