Ok here's how the story starts:
I created and burnt a dvd properly before, but on the disc it was a bit skippy at some points. I am not sure what it is, but I put another dvd disc in, but this time i told Nero to do a simulation, and I tried it at 2 different speeds, high and low (the log i have below is for the fastest speed). After the simulation reached 100%, it said 'Burn process failed at *whatever the speed was*.'
All I had was this log that I have no idea of figuring out on my own. Nero didn't tell me what went wrong with the burn, but I think it may be something to do with the program, not the discs I'm using, because it hadn't even reached the point of burning it to a disc before it said failed.
I guess if someone is going to help me I need a question; how can I fix this problem?
Before you look at the log, I am guessing this part might be the immediate problem:

It seems something is interfering with the burn. May be incd I reccomend removing it via Nero clean tools. May also be that d347prt.sys imulation driver. First thing to try is get enditall2 and run it before burning to end processes. If that helps the burn then look into removing one or both of those. I say if you dont use packet writing its best to remove incd anyway.

Crap it didn't work, I used that enditall2 tool, burn thingy didn't work. I disabled the emulation drive from Daemon Tools, I uninstalled InCD with the Clean Tools thing, and it didn't work. Should I try using another burning program to rule out the fact that its not my hardware? Can you recommend a good one?

Ok same problem, but I noticed when I was watching the Remaining Time section, it came down to 0 seconds, but there was still like 20% left, dunno if this really matters but yeah. Here's the new log, I think everything is gone.

Can someone suggest a burning program other than Nero that I can test my burner out on just to make sure its only Nero with the problem, not my drive?

thx killalot ^
I tried burning with Nero again, the simulation says its failed at 100%, so I was thinking the final processes at 100% is what it is failing. Does anyone know what its final processes at the end of the burn is? If someone can list them all including like 'stopping laser' or whatever then i can start to cancel out on a smaller list of possibilities and maybe solve the issue? If for nothing else just for interest and just broadening knowledge on this program I guess lol.
As well as this, although the simulation didn't work, I tried just simply burning to a disc without a simulation prior to the burn, and it worked. It got to 100% and said it successfully burnt, like it did last time I burnt to disc. The difference this time was that I didn't get any frame skipping, and I don't know off hand anything different I did this time, but I know that InCD isn't present in the burning process anymore, because I removed it. So I guess the major problem solved, probably luck of the draw. But if anyone wants to investigate the simulation issue for future issues, I'd be glad to work on fixing it :).
Thanks guys
