As I found out on the Forum, there are two versions of the DVDR05. The MU and the ZU. I have tried both in the last two days.
Although the MU can record 8 hours versus 6, I prefer the ZU.
It is much easier to schedule a program. The menu is much larger. The MU gives you a one line schedule screen that is at the bottom with small type. The ZU fills the screen with a larger type face.
