I have a few audiobooks that I want to listen on my iPod (nano), but they are not in 'audiobook format'; that is to say, they aren't in the "audiobooks" menu in the iPod menu. The problem I have is that at the end of each track, a small portion of the audio is cut off and I am left unable to hear what was just said. It isn't a problem when I'm listening to regular music files (because at the end, there is nothing I care to hear) but in these audiobooks (that aren't really audiobooks) this is a VERY big problem, because the narrarator skips a word or two every track or so (which is about a minute each, give or take a dozen or so seconds).

What I wanted to know is: if there is a way I can have the files play out all the way to the ending without missing on the second-or-so of audible sound in these tracks?

--Just in case it matters, they are all in .mp3 format, transfered from winamp using ml_ipod.
