After more research than i had ever imagined doing over the past couple of weeks (yet oddly enjoyable), i've narrowed my search down to 4 HDTVs and I'm looking for some good advice!

I'll be sitting about 7 feet from the TV, have no windows in the room, a sofa, and some chairs to the side. We'll be watching mostly HD-TV Movies & Sports, and DVDs.

In the DLP camp it's the Samsung HL-R4266W, Samsung HL-R5087W. For Rear Projection LCD I've been looking at the Sony KDF-E42A10, and from the Plasma side it's the Panasonic TH-42PX50U. I know there's a $1K difference in price with the Plasma, but if it is that much better, i would consider it.
