I just wanted to start out by saying "great forum site" this is by far the best forum I have seen out there for console modding and everything else im in to.

OK, now for the problem.


I bought an xbox 360 core (only system left), memory card (out of HDz), and a couple games. well, I got xbox live hooked up and working properly and started playing call of duty 2. mans best friend (my dog) decided to get hooked to the ethernet cable and knock the xbox over and in turn, the call of duty dvd is scratched to all hell....

so, i go get another dvd and start playing. Now, it constantly freezes in single player mode, have a horrible time trying to connect to xbox live and erratically it will pop up with a "wrong region disc or unable to read" and the disc is perfect.

I bought this at Best Buy without the extended warrenty. Do I send the console in to get fixed by microsoft? or take it back to best buy? what do i do?


Any help would be greatly appreciated

By old means get the extended warranty. Well its out of bestbuy hands they cant do anything do to the lack of 360's on shelve so call micro$osft, they will help u fix it or send u another one.
