Is there a way to bypass unviersity/college filters? I live in a dorm and the unvierstiy has a filter that block all P2P clients and applications. However, I can use LimeWire as long I use a socks5 proxy to bypass the filter. When I use Azureus, I will get a green smiley and everything would work fine on an edu line but the filter will reduce the speed greatly (around 0.01-2kb/s) compared to my cable modem (around 50-255kb/s) back home. Azureus does not support socks5 proxy. Not what I know of. So, I'm asking if there is a solution for this. Thanks.
