Youre firmware is old, you need to update to the lastest C111, go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1931

No offense here and I really mean it, but CMC MAG is one of the worst media. It's inferior when comparing to today's media technologies. Go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/232406 and take a tour, or http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/262544 and you'll be surprised to see why CMC MAG is consider CRAP media. The only media I recommend are Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "advanced azo or datalife plus" and Maxell "mij by Hitachi".

Your burner doesn't like the media you're using. See above reply for other high quality media. Remember to updat your burner's firmware for media compatibility and burning performances.

Use high quality as mentioned above and burn it at 4X. Yes, 4X is the best and most recommended for dvd burning.

You need to dump that horrible Roxio program. Roxio don't play well with Nero, it will only conflicts with your Nero, therefore, you're getting coasters. Go here http://www.downloadjunction.com/product/store/15199 and get it to completely zap/clean Roxio from your system.

Good luck!!

I think i found your firmware listed, and it looks like you need 1.04
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1930
Do the firmware update, and try again, but stay away from imation discs. Try GOOD media like Verb, Sony, Maxell, and Fuji last 3 made in japan. A firmware update will probably solve most of your problems. Even TDK media is not rated highly, it works for some, and causes problems for others. Nero 7 is up to 7.0.1.4b now. Not sure what the "b" did, but it is an update. You also had quite a few programs open while burning as 73% of your memory was in use. Try closing off any apps not needed when burning.

Die CMC Mag!!!
