I am running windows 2000 pro. I was using bit tornado and downloading a large file. After so much time between 15 and 68 mintues my computer would reboot without warning.

This is the message I would get.

***STOP: 0X0000000D1, (0 X 00000009, 0 X 00000002, 0 X 00000000, 0 X 000000009)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Beginning dump or physical memory.
Physical memory dump complete. Contact your system administrator or tech support group .....

This only happens when the bit torrent is running. When it is off I have no problems.

Does anyone know what the cause of this could be?

Thank you for your time.

Oh oh .... does this mean no one can help me? Has no one ever heard of this?

From the research I've done it's has something to do with a driver and improper addressing.

Is there no one that understands what is happening?

Well it's pretty obvious that no one can help me with this. I've discovered something on my own.

I've switched bit clients I'm using Utorrent. I don't have a file to download, but I allow others to upload and after over two hours I didn't have any reboot problems.

I won't know for sure until I have to download something again.

So thanks spirittoo!

Your welcome spiritoo! ;)

I just wanted to post that I found the solution to my problem. Apparently win2k doesn't like bit tornado so I switched bit torrent clients to utorrent and now I am downloading files no problem ;)

So if you exprience this try changing the client. There is a conflict and switching may help as it did with me. :)
